Declaration of Peace

Dear God,

I make this declaration of peace and love to all the world.

I desire: peace and joy, love and happiness in my mind and in my heart;

Peace with the Earth;

Peace in my home and family;

Peace at work and in my city;

Peace with and for my friends;

Peace in Bosnia and in Jerusalem;

Peace in Ireland and in Detroit;

Peace in Manila and in the Congo.

Peace between Catholics and Protestants;

Pease between Muslims and Jews;

Peace between all people: red, yellow, black, white and brown.

Peace between men and women;

Peace between straights and gays.

I am willing to be a peaceful presence.

Use me God,

Establish Your peace - in and through me now.

I know that the peace I long for is possible.

I can see it in my mind and feel it in my heart.

I know that You are both the origin and destination of peace.

Peace and plenty on this planet - peace and plenty here and now.

And so it is.
