reading good books. Read only the best books, there is not enough time to
read any book that isn't great." These words have stuck with me and to
this day, if I start a book that doesn't seem to fit my definition of

 The New Jerusalem Bible is my favorite for general reading and study. The language is beautiful, especially the Old Testament. If you don't have a bible, or are looking for a modern language bible, I recommend this one. |
  His first book is titled Spiritual Journeys along the Yellow Brick Road. This is an incredible, easy to read and understand book that teaches universal spiritual principles using the familiar story of The Wizard of Oz! I have used this book to teach basic metaphysics many times. |
 The Course is about retraining your mind and changing your thought system. If you are ready to give up fear and embrace love in your heart and in your life, the workbook lessons in the Course may be the way for you. |
 The Way Is Within is one of my favorite daily meditation books. It only takes a few minutes each day to feed your mind something satisfying. If you are serious about your own spiritual journey, get serious about spiritual practice. Reading, meditating and prayer are some of the ways of the mystic. |
 In Coming Out Spiritually, Christian del la Huerta explores spiritual archetypes for gay and lesbian people. We have not always been portrayed by religion as spiritual outcasts. If you are interested in reclaiming your place at the table, I encourage you to read this extraordinary book. |
