AWAKENING: My Life Prayer
 

Spirit of Love,

My sense of myself has been profoundly changed this last year.
I have discovered a deep-rooted desire to be more than I have ever been,
To be the me that has been only potential until now.
I want to explore the talents that I have intuitively hoped/known were mine,
And at the same time been afraid of.
Thank You for the many teachers in my life.
I have been changed in quiet, subtle ways and in radical ways.
I know that the process is not over, but rather has just begun.
I am excited and a little nervous.
I have failed miserably so many times in the past.
My intellect understands that I failed because I was trying to do everything myself.
To take charge and make IT happen.
I also have come to understand that the sum total of all my experiences has brought me to now.
I have asked You before to deliver me to my passion,

to help me rediscover what that is.
And to re-mind me of who and what I am.
Thank You for being gentle with me as I embrace these deep changes.
Please remove my blocks and fears, God.
I want to walk with You in the garden.
I want to walk in that garden with everyone else too.
I catch glimpses of what can be,
And I want it God.
I also want to do my part to transform my life, our city, our nation and our planet
God, I find places in me that are not as pure as I would like them to be..
Places in me that are not as loving as I am capable of.
God, some people and situations seem to bring this horrid torrent of stuff up and out of me.
Sometimes I am surprised, even shocked.
Please heal me.
Lead me to that place where everyone is truly ONE.
Forgive my errors God - and help me to forgive myself.
Where I have stumbled around in the darkness,
Please allow Light to shine brightly in and through me.
I surrender my life and my loves, my fears and hopes.
I surrender control too and ask You to take charge.
I surrender my successes and failures.
I recommit and rededicate myself to Your purposes.
I surrender the outcomes of all things.
I surrender my company and our debts and wealth.
Lead me God to my highest, grandest possibility.
Teach me Your ways and use me for Your purpose.
I want to be healed; please teach me to heal.
I want to be loved; please teach me to love more fully.
I want to live from integrity; please steep me in Truth.
I want to be a blessing to others; shine in me God.
I want forgiveness; please teach me how to forgive.
I ask for Your blessing and abundance in all areas of my life.
I do not hold anything back.
Guide my thoughts, actions and words that they might be Yours.
I sense that ALL of Your creation is magnificent.
And I am part of Your creation.
Awaken my magnificence, God - spark my brilliance.
That I might live fully the life You have given me.
Thank You so very much.
